What species would work better for board and batten siding that i plan to let age naturally no stain hemlock or white pine.

If you use white pine it won t be long until you have the opportunity to replace the siding.

Ok so i ve started putting up 1 thick rough sawn hemlock boards battens later and pretty much went with the advice of put it up wet and let it dry on the wall method.
