Using a felt tip pen draw a line in the center on each masking tape so they are in a straight line.

Repeat steps 1 through 16 on the right side of the vehicle to install the right roof rail. Also a powered cut off tool eg dremel helps immensely although i did my trimming with a hacksaw. Install the left roof rail cover to the left roof rail base with the fourteen clips from the left roof rail cover. Right roof rail right front roof rail cover.

Install the left rear roof rail cover to the left roof rail with the two clips and one torx screw. P n 08l02 t6z 102 p n 08l02 t6z 102a. Left roof rail base 4 stud bolts 4 torx nuts 8 mm 14 18 lb ft 18 6 24 5 n m 16. Remove the masking tape from the vehicle.

Left front roof rail cover left rear roof rail cover. Install the left front roof rail cover to the left roof rail with the two clips and one torx screw. Tools and supplies required. Attach a piece of masking tape on the vehicle panel and one on the left roof molding in the center.

Left roof rail base torx screw 2 1 3 6 lb ft 2 9 4 9 n m front left roof rail cover 14 clips left roof rail base. The adage measure twice cut once applies here.
